• Have your child watch you write the letter or number on the back of their workbook sheet with a highlighter; child should trace then try without tracing.  Encourage to repeat and include lowercase when ready.
• The first page of every workbook is a spot for your child's name.  This can be very intimidating to your child (imagine trying to write your name without knowing the letters in it).  Please remember to use a highlighter and have your child trace their name until all letters in their name are learned or they are comfortable writing their name by themselves.
