New in 2010, Stepping Stones has accepted the standards for high quality child care while going through the self-study process for national accreditation through the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC)!  Expect to see improvements and growth in the coming years!


In 2007 Stepping Stones applied for the IDHS Quality Counts grant and was awarded the maximum amount of $1500 to make improvements to the main day care area off the kitchen.

In 2008, Stepping Stones was awarded over $1800 for new playground equipment, chairs & table, stroller, and a fire ladder.  We are all very excited!!  Please ask Jennifer for more details on plans and changes for the future!
