Tobias

Above is our newest member of the family, "Tobias".  Toby is a three year old Golden Retriever, adopted Thanksgiving 2009.  He's the biggest of the three pets in our home weighing around 80lbs.  A gentle giant, Toby love, love, LOVES the children!  He likes to play fetch with his ball and get treats from the kids.  He is a very caring dog, always by your side - especially if you're feeling blue.  Toby, the very playful pup, loves to play with stuffed animals and squeeky toys (when he can't find his ball) - every week they are in the wash!  We are blessed to have found such a great dog.

Above is "Robin", an American Bobtail, he is about 9 years old.  He was adopted in 2002 by Jennifer while working in California.  He is lactose intolerant, and has asthma.  He is what the kids call "a cat with no tail", which is true since he was born that way.  He is four-paw declawed, and loves to be loved by kids and adults.  He usually sleeps during the morning and comes out after the kid's naps are over.  Sometimes he will join a big kid on their cot to take a snooze.  But don't worry, he doesn't like cribs or play pens since he is a little shy around the younger ones.  :)  He is very playful and his favorite game is to play fetch with his toys.  He does not bite while he plays, but does give an occasional kiss with his nose or pat on the back with his paws.

Above you will see "Wile E. Coyote".  "Wile E." is a cattle dog mix, weighing around 30lbs, is about eight years old, and was adopted in Fresno, California by Jennifer in 2002.  She was very ill and scared when she first came to the animal hospital that Jennifer worked at.  Living the first six months of her life on her own, most likely in Yosemite National Park, "Wile E." had very bad manners and did not listen very well.  After six months of behavioral training with Jennifer, she is one of the best behaved dogs around.  She knows all the typical commands, is off-lead trained, and loves to play ball and tug of war with adults and kids.  She is still a bit skittish when first meeting new people, but she warms up quick.  She likes to spend most of the day outside, and she loves getting doggie treats from the kids.

All animals at Stepping Stones HCC are completely vaccinated, regularly bathed, and receive monthly deworming treatments in order to keep everyone healthy and happy!
